Cornfritters are a serious business…Which is why we have created our take-home fritter packs and saucy goods for you to enjoy at home!
The idea for Cornstars was born one Sunday morning over breakfast with the family at our local Farmer’s Market. Having spent over 20 years working in the food industry, 10 of those as head chef in a busy restaurant, Tamar aka ‘The Kernel’ spent the next few months planning, researching, testing and creating Cornstars Fritter Co.
Our first market stall was at Frenchs Forest Organic Food Markets 8 years ago. Since then our business (along with our family) has really grown! We now have market stalls across Sydney and have expanded our offering to include the take-home fritter packs and saucy goods; Tomato relish, Chilli jam and Beetroot relish.
We are super proud that all our products are made in small batches using only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients. Take our cornfritters- Corn, shallots, eggs, flour and a pinch of salt, that’s it! Our epic fritters have gained a reputation amongst Sydney foodies, and have been Urbanlisted as the go-to place for cornfritters in Sydney.
