Before the Bundl....
There are so many great fresh produce options here on the Northern Beaches. Many lay undiscovered (at least to me) before I started to explore the idea behind Bundlfresh. From Palm Beach to Manly and up to Forestville and Terrey Hills the Northern Beaches has more than 100 small, family owned and operated businesses.
Some suburbs are what I would consider to be 'foodie' hotspots, with a rich array of interesting fresh food businesses and sensational cafes and restaurants. If you've visited Freshwater, Manly, Balgowlah, Collaroy, Mona Vale, Newport or Avalon lately, you'll know what I'm talking about. All these businesses help create a village feel for these suburbs defining the town centre with a vibrant 'High Street'. They are often at the heart of these communities.
Coffee culture is a big part of the food scene. At last count I have discovered there are at least 9 Coffee Roasters in the Northern Beaches. And what I find so special is that each one has a different Coffee Philosophy which leads to diverse and interesting coffee outcomes for their customers. What they all have in common though, is deep passion and love of what they do combined with craftsmen like skills to constantly improve their coffee and customers' experience.
It is this hand-picked, market fresh, handcrafted, artisan devotion that sees incredible variety and quality across all various types of fresh produce. Be it the freshest flowers, best coffee, (two days in the making) sourdough, freshest fruit, tastiest seafood, or just the humble sausage that has a flavour you just can't seem to get in the supermarkets, the food choices we get to enjoy add to, and are part of, the incredible Northern Beaches lifestyle.
If only you could get all these fantastic offers in one place........
